EXP3 - THE IMAGE CAPTURES AND ARCHITECTURE

 The whole view of the building.Inspired by space station of a sci-fi game EVE. It consists of 7 irregular boxes.

Theory：Design can serve as an “extension of the city on one hand and as a connector to the surrounding environment on the other.”  The building is in irregular shape which is in contrast  with the square and round house.

 Students have a quiet learning environment in lecture theater.

 Teacher and students can take the cable car to anywhere inside the campus. The bridge under the cable way connects the gallery and the Electrical Engineering building.

 The show stands in gallery. In irregular shape in order to keep visual balance with the appearance of the building.

Some short bridges hold those box together.

MASH UP
The main concept is that Design can serve as an “extension of the city on one hand and as a connector to the surrounding environment on the other.” Resting on the description of Bauhaus by Walter Gropius: "Only perfect harmony in the technical function and in the proportions of form can produce beauty.” And design is not about shape, but about the logic of shape. Not about aesthetics, but how to adapt aesthetics to a daily use.
  The bridge design is based on the theory of "Worldcraft" – creating architecture that focuses on turning "surreal dreams into inhabitable space".  In addition, architecture is a fundamentally humanitarian profession according to Swiss architect Jacques Herzog, who believes a building's success should be judged on whether it is filled with people.

 The piers create a path for people to walk through.

The movement shape are inspired by student's busy, enrich and colorful life. The shape is invariable but the shadows of the shape is different all the time. It just like student's colorful life and also reflects the school motto 'Never Stand Still'.

Platform is a important area cause that's the main activities space for people who waiting the light railway.

EXP 2 - Concepts & Electroliquid Aggregation

Two concepts:
Bernard Tschumi: Architecture is for participation: leaving the completion of the architecture to thne users - trhe follies are noy designed with any particular intensions but for multipurpose ( event space).
Yakov Chernikov: Architecture is reflecting the experience of modern life —— dynamic, busy-going and industrialization. 

Electroliquid Aggregation: Architecture is for human life, and the human activities and events happen in space decide the architecture.
